Ergebnisse aus Wien

Tatort Wien!

Das war die Headline von Paaren, die mir die Ergebnisse aus Wien übermittelten. Hier ein kleiner Veranstaltungseindruck für all diejenigen, die sich am vergangenen Wochenende den eisigen Wind in der Heimat um die Nase wehen ließen: 

Dieses von Eiswind und Schneematsch begleitete Wochenende in Wien kann man  aus niedersächsischer Sicht, mit Ausnahme der sehr positiven Ergebnisse für Oliver Luthardt und Brigitte Kessel-Döhle (3. und 4. Platz), eher als eine Folge der Serie "Pleiten, Pech und Pannen" einstufen.

Obwohl es noch etliche weitere Final- und Semifinalplätze gab, waren die übrigen niedersächsischen Paare doch ziemlich enttäuscht. Solveig und Sönke Schakat haben am ersten Tag noch das Finale erreicht, am zweiten nicht mehr - völlig unverständlich aus Sicht der Beobachter. Antje und Raymund Reimann haben fulminant getanzt, sahen wie ein klares Finalpaar aus - und wurden auf Platz 8 verschoben.

Birgit Suhr-Erné hatte sich bei mehrstündiger Stressfahrt durch Schneechaos zum Frühlingsbeginn einen Rückennerv eingeklemmt und kam mit ihrem Thermacare-Pflaster auf dem Rücken kaum durch die Flughafen-Security, da man Sprengstoffpakete vermutete.
Das WDSF Sen III-Turnier mussten die Beiden daher kurzfristig canceln. Birgit Suhr-Erné und Marcel Erné tanzten dennoch ihr Sen IV-Turnier - erreichten hier das Finale und belegten den vierten Platz. Tags darauf tanzte das Paar  dick getapt, mit zusammengebissenen Zähnen noch einmal ins und durchs Finale der Sen IV und belegte Platz 5. 

Astrid und Rainer Quenzel durften vor dem geplanten Abflug vom Airport Hannover erstmal wieder die Rückfahrt  antreten, da ihr Flug ohne Vorwarnung ersatzlos gestrichen worden war. Stattdessen mussten sie dann am Samstag morgen in panischer Hetze einen anderen Flug nehmen und und verpassten mit Platz 13 mehr als knapp das Semifinale.
